Volunteering with Take Away Hunger CR | #RapidsCares

The Rapids team volunteered their time as part of a group of 125 that managed to package 20,000 meals in just three hours!

Take Away Hunger is a food relief organization with the goal of bringing communities together to package meals that are sent to hungry children around the world. The packaged meals are currently improving lives both locally (the Crisis Center in Iowa City, the Fellowship Cup in Mt Pleasant, and the Southeast Iowa Food Bank in Ottumwa) and overseas (Albania, Honduras, Nicaragua, Haiti, Busia, E Africa, Monroubia, Pakistan, and Liberia)
