So, you’ve decided it is a good idea to secure your beer. I get it, there are a TON of reasons why this makes sense. Here are the top 4.
That being said, how do you know which lock fits? Well, this was an issue actually brought to our attention by a customer who inadvertently ordered the wrong one. So we went ahead and made a little flow chart thingy to help you navigate to the faucet lock that’ll work on your faucet.
Basically, there are two styles of locks that are pretty popular in our stores. We have the traditional or “standard” faucets that all have generally the same shape and design. And we have the Perlick forward sealing faucets. These are commonly referred to as the Perlick 600 Series faucets. These have a curvature that needs to be accounted for when selecting your locks.
They're pretty simple to use. Check out this quick demonstration video we threw together to show you how they go on.
If you know the manufacturer part number, or our part number “sku”, you can use that to locate the compatible locks in the infographic below.
And, of course, if you have any questions at all about the proper lock for you, feel free to reach out to us. Give a buzz, jump on the online chat (you can send us a pic there) or email us and we’ll help you track down the right one.
