Compressor Covers

Walk-in refrigerators, just like other commercial refrigerators, need compressors in order to function. The refrigerator compressor functions as both a motor and a pump that move the refrigerant through the system or unit. One of the first things to consider when setting up a walk-in cooler or freezer is whether it's going to be placed indoors or outdoors. Walk-in refrigerators that are going to be placed outdoors are going to require more protection than those units that are built for indoor use. This is why it's important to use compressor covers to protect your compressor. In fact, a good-quality compressor cover will help increase the lifespan of your walk-in fridge's compressor. Compressor covers can also be used to protect compressors of indoor walk-in fridges.

Refrigerator and Freezer Gaskets

A refrigerator gasket is used to fill the space between the walk-in refrigerator door and shelf in order to prevent cold air from escaping. A compressor gasket is usually sold by the meter or by the foot and are typically stretchable so they can be applied to refrigerator corners for a better seal.
