At Rapids we understand that occassionaly the product you order isn't exactly what you needed
To insure that returns and credits are handled as efficiently as possible Rapids requires a return authorization (RA) on all returned orders or products. Contact Rapids at 800-899-6610 to arrange for a return authorization for your goods.
Original Packaging, Unused Condition
Rapids can only accept products for return that are in their original and intact packaging and in an unused condition. Rapids does not sell any merchandise on trial. Products returned to the Rapids warehouse in any other condition may be refused after inspection.
Inspection On Return
All returned goods are subject to inspection before any credits will be processed. If Rapids has concerns regarding the condition of the returned goods the purchaser will be contacted. Inspection may take up to one week after receipt by Rapids warehouse, two weeks on goods returned directly to the manufacturer.
Initiallly defective goods will be handled per the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer may specify either repair or replacement.
Freight Damaged Returns
The purchaser is required to inspect all shipments for damage. Do not sign the freight release until a complete inspection has been made. Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours. Returns Policy Statement:
Returns: Merchandise that is normally stocked by Rapids may be returned, unused, in its original carton, within 30 days of initial shipment to the customer. No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization of the Seller. Please note the customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges on returned merchandise, and may also be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Products accepted by Rapids as an authorized return will have any credit amount due to the customer adjusted to deduct the shipping and handling charges of the initial shipment. The shipping and handling charges will be in addition to any restocking fees assessed on the returned goods. Sorry, used items, special orders, and custom merchandise (including furniture) are not returnable.
