Two of the largest Craft Brew Celebrations happen every February: Arizona Beer Week and San Francisco Beer Week. If you are looking for a fun mid-winter trip, you might want to check out the festivities.

Arizona Beer Week

Arizona Beer Week 2017 runs from Feb. 9th-18th, and includes over 200 events across the state! This craft beer festival is in its 7th year and has grown exponentially each time. The Arizona Craft Brewer’s Guild is behind Arizona Beer Week and is made up of more than 100 breweries, distributors and various partners across the state.

The premier event for this celebration is The Strong Beer Festival, an event that actually predates Arizona Beer Week by 10 years.This festival has been voted “Best Craft Beer Festival” over and over again. It's also produced by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild and features over 120 craft breweries from across the state and region. It's a celebration of beers that are strong in flavor, strong in character, and unique. Tickets for this event sell out quickly, so if you are interested, you need to act fast!

San Francisco Beer Week

San Francisco Beer Week 2017 runs from Feb 10th-19th and boasts 663 events (so far!), including a carnival, brewery tours, food pairings, education opportunities, and more. SF Beer Week is organized by the San Francisco Brewers Guild, but it’s the hundreds of local breweries, bars, restaurants, and other venues across the Bay Area that make SF Beer Week one of the biggest and best beer weeks in the world.

The SF Beer Week Opening Gala is the largest, most anticipated, and prestigious annual gathering of the Northern California craft beer community. It’s the kickoff party for SF Beer Week, setting the mood for a nine-day marathon of beer dinners, tastings, tap takeovers, and educational events that occur all over the Bay Area.
