Commercial Pest Control for the Foodservice Industry

The bad news? Insects are experts at making their way into your kitchen and dining area. The good news? You can do something about it.

Whether you want to take preventative measures such as an air door or you would rather just eliminate them once they are inside your facility, Curtron has a solution for you!

Curtron Pest-Pro Series Insect Traps

One of the main draws of the Curtron Pest-Pro series is that they are silent – your customers and employees won’t have to deal with the buzz and unappealing crackle every time an insect is killed. Instead, they utilize a high-intensity UV light that attracts the insects to an adhesive panel. The adhesive boards can be replaced once they’ve hit their insect limit, which makes these fly traps a great investment!

Unless otherwise noted, these units should be mounted 3-6 feet above the floor.

Front-of-House Decorative Insect Traps

The Series 100 Fly Trap incorporates the design of a decorative wall sconce, meaning you can place it in your dining room without worrying about it being an eyesore. It is effective up to 900 square feet and should be mounted 5-6 feet above the floor.

Fast-Acting Commercial Kitchen Pest Control Traps

When it comes to back-of-the-house insect control, effectiveness matters more than looks. The Curtron Series 200 has a range of 1500 square feet and double the adhesive panels of the Series 100 option. It is perfect for any high-traffic area, and can be used in the dining room if you don’t have any concerns about the way it looks.

Another option is the Pest-Pro Series 300, which is fairly similar to the Series 200, except it has a slightly larger range of 1800 square feet. This unit does have a high-intensity UV light, which means it will produce 50% more light than standard units, something you will want to keep in mind when deciding between the two back-of-house units.

Insect Control Air Doors from Curtron

Air doors not only provide protection from pesky flying insects and airborne pollutants, but they can also substantially reduce your energy bill – they are designed to form a barrier between the air outside your building and the air inside your building, which means you will lose less cool air in the summer and less heated air in the winter.

The aptly-named Insect Back Door is designed to work with openings up to 120”H providing climate, environmental, and insect control. And it does so with unmatched air flow uniformity and low noise levels, so you can use it on a wide variety of retail, commercial, and foodservice doors.

While all air doors provide energy savings, this door will pay for itself in as little as two years!

The Air-Pro series is a great fit for providing environmental and insect control for entrances up to 84” high. This includes foodservice doors, food manufacturing entrances, convenience store doors, hotel entrances, and more!

They are easy to install and operate – they plug into standard Type-B grounded wall outlets and have a high/low/off switch.
