American Beer Day is Oct. 27th. The history of American beer dates back to colonial times when it was made with corn. American beer is produced in a variety of styles, but the most well-known is pale lager. Other American beers include IPA, brown ale, porter, and stout.

Honor Courage Commitment, Inc. started the #22KILL movement in 2013 after learning the staggering statistic that an average of 22 veterans are killed by suicide every day, hence the name #22Kill. HCC is committed to researching and understanding the genesis of this epidemic, as well as educating the general public on the issue. #22KILL is an ongoing platform to raise awareness, not just towards veteran suicide, but also to the mental health issues that can lead to suicide.
This week, May 16 through May 22, 2016 marks the 11th year of the Brewer’s Association “American Craft Beer Week”, a nationwide celebration of U.S. small and independent craft brewers. The week-long tribute provides an opportunity for craft brewers to share their creativity and passion for great beer with the greater craft beer community. From May 16 – 22, all 50 states will be holding events including exclusive brewery tours, special craft beer releases, food and beer pairings, tap takeovers, and more to celebrate the ever-advancing beer culture in the United States.
