Returns Policy
At Rapids we understand that occassionaly the product you order isn't exactly what you needed.
To insure that returns and credits are handled as efficiently as possible Rapids requires a return authorization (RA) on all returned orders or products. Contact Rapids at 800-472-7431 to arrange for a return authorization for your goods.
Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of up to 30% will apply to all returned products. Exceptions are made only for products that Rapids incorrectly filled or shipped.
Original Packaging, Unused Condition
Rapids can only accept products for return that are in their original and intact packaging and in an unused condition. Rapids does not sell any merchandise on trial. Products returned to the Rapids warehouse in any other condition may be refused after inspection.
Inspection On Return
All returned goods are subject to inspection before any credits will be processed. If Rapids has concerns regarding the condition of the returned goods the purchaser will be contacted. Inspection may take up to one week after receipt by Rapids warehouse, two weeks on goods returned directly to the manufacturer.
Defective Goods
Initiallly defective goods will be handled per the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer may specify either repair or replacement.
Freight Damaged Returns
The purchaser is required to inspect all shipments for damage. Do not sign the freight release until a complete inspection has been made. Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours. Returns: No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization of the Seller. Returns are subject to a 30% restocking charge. Purchaser shall be responsible for the cost of freight to return products. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no returns are permitted with respect to custom design and fabricated equipment and furniture.
