A Golden (H)opportunity

According to an WalletHub, 13 million pints of Guinness® were consumed on St. Patrick's Day in 2018, which is 819% more than the average on any other day of the year.

Don't miss out on this profit pot o' gold - come to Rapids for all of your Guinness®-related needs!

Guinness® Keg Coupler & Accessories

A special U-system keg coupler is used by Guinness® breweries (among others). It is designed for maximum flow and efficiency and can also be used for either single or series keg dispensing.

Another component essential to your Guinness® dispensing is a beer line cleaning kit. This kit will remove mold, mineral deposits, beer stones and other impurities from your system. Components include a jar pump assembly, gasket, BLC cleaning solution, spanner wrench, and faucet brush.

Don't forget your dual gauge nitrogen regulator! It was specifically designed to never exceed the preset level of 55–60 PSIG prior to shutdown, and once it's been shut off, no additional pressure enters your system, protecting the integrity of your keg.

Stout Faucets

In order to properly dispense Guinness, you need to use a stout faucet - or a beer faucet with interchangeable nozzle spouts.

Rapids offers multiple standard stout faucets, including a sleek stainless steel option. It is corrosion-resistant, which lessens the chances that mold, yeast, and other harmful minerals will build up inside the faucet and ruin the taste of your beer. The restrictor faucet nozzle forces the beer through a restrictor disc, de-gassing it and creating a thick, creamy white head with very small bubbles that slows down the pour of the beer for a more high quality taste.

If you only pour Guinness and other European beers infrequently, you might want to consider an Intertap beer faucet with an interchangeable nozzle (choose from either a stainless steel or PVD brass finish). All of our Intertap faucets are forward-sealing and will fit three different threaded spout attachments: a growler filler, a stout spout, and a ball lock spot attachment. A flow control Intertap faucet is also available.
