For many children in homeless shelters, a birthday celebration is just not something their parents are able to provide. Sweet Celebrations aims to change this by providing birthday parties for these children in the St. Louis/St. Charles area. They work hard to incorporate themes the children are excited about, such as their favorite movie, book, or hobby to make the party even more special. Sweet Celebrations also keeps the magic alive for other holidays, providing Christmas presents and Easter baskets to the shelters.
This non-profit relies on generous donors and volunteers to make their mission a success - the volunteers help with activities such as setup, cake, games, and clean-up, while donations are used to buy decor and presents.
Sweet Celebrations plans to use our donation of $675 to increase the amount of parties they are able to organize.
