TDR/TBR Features & Benefits

These units share a number of beneficial features, including an electronic temperature control with an exterior digital display that is easy-to-use and lets you know what temperature the unit is holding at a glance. Both units have a temperature range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit and have white LED lighting.

Energy Efficiency

The True bar refrigerators run on environmentally-friendly R290 refrigerant, which allows for colder holding temperatures (the coldest in the industry!) and shorter compressor run times. This efficiency means that the TDR/TBR refrigerators actually use less energy, which translates into cost savings for you!

The units also have a high density, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation that has zero ozone depletion and zero global warming potential. This insulation is ideal for holding in cold air.

When all of these features are combined with True's exclusive RCU technology, the result is a unit that doesn't have to work as hard to maintain the proper temperatures, lowering your energy bill.

Durability

To handle the demands of a commercial environment, the exterior is black powder-coated cold roll steel on all sides, with a stainless steel countertop. The interior is also stainless steel, with an ABS plastic ceiling.

The door handles are heavy duty and any included shelves are PVC-coated for extra longevity.

Versatility

These units have taken versatility to a new level, with benefits such as field reversible swing doors and zero clearance requirements for the sides and back. They are NSF-7 compliant, so you can conveniently store open food product - such as garnishes - alongside your beer.

Additionally, all of these units are UL rated for outdoor use, which is great for businesses looking to expand their bar areas outdoors during this pandemic.

TDR Draft Refrigeration Units with Beer Dispensing Towers

Rapids offers two single tap TDR units. Both are 48"W and have a surface-mounted drip tray and a 1/5 HP motor.

The difference between the two? One has two solid doors, with a capacity of six home brew barrels/Cornelius-style kegs, six 1/6 barrels, or three slim 1/4 barrels.

The other has one glass door and one solid door, so it doubles as a merchandiser. It can hold 38 six-packs (12 oz cans) or 21 six-packs (12 oz bottles) behind the glass door. The keg capacity is two home brew barrels/Cornelius-style kegs, three 1/6 barrels, or one slim 1/4 barrels.

TBR Back Bar Coolers

The back bar coolers are perfect for storing beer, wine, juice, energy drinks, soda, and other beverages. Depending on whether or not you want glass doors, Rapids offers several TBR options:
