The Blue Rhino Portable Outdoor 24" LP Gas Griddle has a 730 sq. in. cooking space so you can cook a wide variety of foods at the same time (up to 57 burgers!). It comes pre-seasoned and is designed to be easy to clean.
But that's not all! Once you're done cooking, you can fold the side shelves over the top of the griddle, fold the legs up underneath it, and lock it in a closed position. This drastically reduces the space it takes up in your storage area (and makes it easy to transport!).
Grilling Accessories
The first thing necessary for a successful grilling experience is a turner - and lucky for you, Rapids offers a number of Hell's Handle® turners with heat-resistant handles (up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit). They are perfect for grilling because they stay cooler to the touch for longer, protecting your (or your dad's) hands.
Make sure the food is evenly cooked with a steak weight or a basting cover, then check that the meat has reached the proper temperature with a meat thermometer.
And don't forget to clean your grill! Our griddle cleaner kit includes 1 pad holder, 10 polishing pads, squeegee, (10) 3.2 oz. packets of cleaner, and a how-to video.
Beer on Father's Day? Dad-Tasted, Dad-Approved
Beer Dispensing
No Father's Day celebration is complete without dad's favorite beer. Depending on the event and your anticipated customer demand, you can incorporate this intoxicating beverage with a jockey box or a picnic pump.
The picnic pump attaches to the keg for convenient beer pouring. The straight down pumping action eliminates pressure on the keg neck lugs and prevents unwanted foaming that is caused from over-pumping with a lot of other beer keg pumps. The threaded cobra keg faucet is durable and allows for the best tasting beer possible.
If you use a picnic pump, you will need to store your keg at the optimal serving temperature, as the picnic pump doesn't cool the beer before it dispenses it.
On the other hand, a jockey box moves beer through coils or a cold plate to chill beer on the way to the faucet. Our two-faucet jockey box with a 50 ft. coil cooler allows you to serve two different beers at once, or to add increase your serving capacity of one beer.
You should also have a way to cool your keg when using a jockey box, but you will have much more temperature flexibility since the jockey box will cool the beer as well.
Dispensing Accessories
Keeping your keg cool is essential in preserving the taste of your beer. It also prevents an excessive amount of foam from being created.
The red plastic keg tub can be used in conjunction with keg jackets or coil coolers to keep your keg cool. It's virtually indestructible, as well as rust-, dent-, and corrosion-resistant. It can also be used as a beer tub for cooling bottles and cans quickly with ice.
Our red vinyl keg jacket is specially designed to help maintain the temperature of regular 1/2 size beer barrels. It's lightweight and easy-to-handle, with sturdy stitching and a center hole that can accommodate a picnic pump or keg coupler.
