The range includes a large standard oven with a 38,000 BTU/11.13 kW cast-iron “H” style burner, porcelain ribbed bottom, nickel-plated 3-position oven racks, and a snap-action modulating thermostat adjustable up to 500°F.
The stainless steel front, sides, 5" front rail, and backguard with removable shelf provide durability and easy cleaning. Fully reinforced chassis corners, heavy-duty knobs, and 6" adjustable legs make this range a reliable choice for professional kitchens.


The Garland U36-6R 36" Restaurant Range is a professional-grade gas range engineered for high-output commercial kitchens. Designed for durability, precision, and ergonomic operation, this range provides exceptional versatility and performance in a compact footprint. The unit features a large 27" (686 mm) worktop surface with stainless steel front, sides, and a 5" (127 mm) plate rail, ensuring a durable, easy-to-clean work environment. A stainless steel backguard with removable shelf protects walls from splashes and allows convenient storage for utensils or pans.
The cooktop includes six powerful 2-piece cast-iron geometric open burners, each delivering 32,000 BTU/hr. (9.37 kW), set in ergonomically designed split cast-iron top ring grates. These grates provide stability for cookware and even heat distribution, while the 12" (305 mm) stamped drip trays with dimpled bottoms collect spills and simplify cleaning. For griddle applications, the range is equipped with a 5/8" (15 mm) thick steel griddle plate with a manual hi/lo valve control, 23" (584 mm) working depth, and a 4-1/4" (108 mm) wide grease trough. Each 12" section of the griddle is powered by an 18,000 BTU/5.27 kW cast-iron “H” style burner, and the griddle plate is front-serviceable for convenient maintenance.
The oven is a large standard capacity unit, featuring a 38,000 BTU/11.13 kW cast-iron “H” style burner, a snap-action modulating thermostat adjustable from low to 500°F, and nickel-plated oven racks with 3-position removable guides. The oven interior includes a porcelain ribbed bottom and door, while the aluminized steel top, sides, and back provide strength and long-term durability. The oven accommodates full-size sheet pans in both directions, ensuring versatile cooking capacity, and the square door with a heavy-duty, keep-cool handle provides safe, ergonomic operation.
Additional construction features include 6" (152 mm) adjustable stainless steel legs, reinforced chassis corners, and heavy-duty knobs designed for frequent use. A gas regulator ensures proper operation, and the oven pilot light is easily accessible for maintenance. Optional features include a griddle or hot top in place of open burners and a storage base in lieu of the oven for additional under-counter storage.
