The air curtain system's thermal barrier effect reduces the temperature recovery load after customer access events. In a fully open display case, every access event draws ambient warm air into the display volume that the refrigeration system must then remove. The air curtain reduces the volume of ambient air that enters during each access event, allowing the refrigeration system to maintain setpoint temperature more efficiently through periods of frequent access.
The white coated galvanized steel interior and shelves provide a bright, clean backdrop that maximizes product visibility — white interiors create a contrast background that makes product packaging and labeling stand out, particularly for dark-labeled products, that can be harder to read against stainless steel interiors. The combination of white interior and LED under-shelf lighting creates a well-lit, high-visibility display environment.
