The Vollrath Mirage 375W full-size drop-in induction buffet warmer is the larger-format companion to the 300W square model — sized at 23"W x 16"D for full-size chafers and serving vessels in flush drop-in counter installations. At 375W, it provides more warming power for the larger vessel format, ensuring adequate heat delivery across the full surface area of a standard full-size chafer. The full feature set of the Mirage buffet warmer line is included: touch controls, four power levels, LED indicators on both the control panel and glass top, interconnect cord capability, and remote control box USB cable mounting.
The safety system on the full-size model extends to four protections: over-heat protection prevents the element from exceeding safe operating temperatures; small-article detection prevents rings, utensils, and other small metal objects from accidentally activating the element; pan auto-detection confirms that a proper induction-compatible vessel is in place before activating; and empty-pan shut-off stops operation when the vessel is empty and at risk of overheating from concentrated energy with no food load to absorb it. These four systems together protect the unit, the cookware, and the food from the range of failure modes that induction equipment is subject to in active commercial buffet service.
