Wrapped straw access at self-serve drink stations is a simple but frequently overlooked design consideration. Straw holders sitting on the counter surface occupy space, tip over, and accumulate counter debris around their base. Flush-mount straw storage eliminates the countertop footprint entirely — the straw supply is recessed into the counter or cabinet face, with only the access opening visible at the service surface.
The two-compartment design allows two straw types or sizes to be available at the same installation point. Beverage operations offering both standard cocktail straws and longer specialty straws, or both standard-diameter and wide-bore straws, can provide access to both in a single 6-1/2"W flush installation rather than maintaining two separate holders.
