The Traulsen CLST-4812-SD-LR is a 48" two-section compact prep table refrigerator with solid doors hinged left and right — the reach-in door version of the 48" compact prep table, providing full-height interior shelf access alongside 12 top-rail ingredient positions. Twelve 1/6-size x 4" polycarbonate pans are included; the rail accommodates 6" deep pans. Each section has two adjustable epoxy-coated wire shelves on pilasters. R-290 refrigeration at 32–41°F, front-breathing for zero-clearance installation.
Both doors are self-closing with stay-open feature, field-reversible, magnetic snap-in gaskets. Stainless steel interior and exterior. 12" deep full-length NSF cutting board included. Factory-installed 4" braked casters, 9' cord and plug. 1/5 HP, 2.6 amps. 6-year parts and labor warranty plus 1-year compressor warranty. cETLus, ETL-Sanitation listed.
The Traulsen CLST-4812-SD-LR provides the 48" CLST compact prep table format with solid-door reach-in access — the appropriate choice when the interior shelf storage of a reach-in configuration is operationally preferred over the drawer access of the CLST-4812-DW. At 48" with two sections, the unit provides four adjustable epoxy-coated wire shelves across two independently accessible refrigerated compartments — significant interior storage for hotels pans, large containers, and bulk prep stock alongside 12 top-rail ingredient positions.
The two-section door configuration divides the 48" interior into two 24" sections, each with independent door access. Operationally, this allows a kitchen to dedicate each section to a different ingredient category — proteins on the left, produce on the right, for example — with each section accessible without opening the other. For prep stations shared by multiple cooks, independent section access reduces interference between users working different parts of the menu.
Twelve included 1/6-size pans at 4" depth in the top rail handle the most-accessed prep ingredients at immediate reach. The rail is rated for 6" deep pans and is fully accessible for cleaning. The forced-air chambered rail refrigeration maintains consistent temperature across all 12 rail positions while the two-section interior below maintains the same 32–41°F range.
Both doors feature foamed-in-place recessed handles, self-closing operation with stay-open feature, and field-reversible hinges. Each door's magnetic snap-in gasket seals the section completely and replaces without tools. The stay-open feature allows hands-free access during restocking or ingredient retrieval that requires both hands.
