Polyethylene beer tubes, like this particular polyethylene beer line, are especially recommended for all long-draw beer systems between cooler and faucet but specifically used for glycol recirculating lines as they are not recommended for use with the draft beer itself. Polyethylene beer tubes are made of oxygen-permeable material that contributes to oxidation of the beer remaining in the lines; this is why, these days, a poly beer line is only recommended for use as glycol tubing.
