The front mounted touchpad has a 15-minute digital timer, and the interlocked bowl lift keeps the mixer from running when the bowl is not in position. Thermal overload protection guards the motor.
The transmission is gear-driven for high torque, with heat-treated hardened steel alloy gears and shafts and permanent lubrication. The cast aluminum body is rigid, and the bowl guard has a chute for adding ingredients.
