American Beverage Standard Kegerator Conversion Kit with a Sankey Keg Coupler

This 10 piece DIY standard kegerator conversion kit can be used for modifying your home refrigerator into a basic keg fridge OR for hooking up a single tap commercial beer dispensing system. Ideal for man caves everywhere, this kit contains many of the primary components needed for repurposing a standard refrigerator into your very own beer dispenser.

How the Kegerator Conversion Kits Works

The keg coupler is a wing style coupler that is used to tap kegs requiring a Sankey style coupler. You can find a list of the brands of beer using a Sankey coupler in our beer guide.

You will need a supply of CO2 in a CO2 cylinder and a CO2 regulator to control the amount pressure in the keg. A CO2 line and clamps are included in this refrigerator conversion kit to connect the keg coupler to your CO2 regulator. The included beer line then connects the keg coupler to the cylindrical beer shank.

The shank will be the part that goes through the refrigerator wall or door. Washers fit on each side to seal the beer line. The beer tap faucet then connects to the other side of the beer shank on the outside of the fridge.

A faucet knob connects to the top of that for easy pouring. A hole will need to be drilled in your fridge door for the shank to run through completing your basic door mount kegerator. All that's left is tap the keg and call your buddies!
