The Vollrath PLC-2 stainless steel gravity-fed pull-down cup dispenser handles cups in the 2-7/8"–3-1/2" diameter range — medium cup sizes covering 10–20 oz paper and plastic cups common at beverage service stations. The 25-3/4"W x 3-3/4"D stainless unit mounts to a wall or rotating stand.

The PLC-2 covers the 2-7/8"–3-1/2" cup diameter range — the medium cup format used for 12–20 oz beverages at cafeteria drink service, quick-service fountain counters, and self-serve beverage stations where a moderate cup size is the primary offering. The gravity-fed mechanism's operational advantage over spring-loaded cup dispensers is in the dispensing action. Spring-loaded dispensers push cups upward for top-removal; gravity-fed dispensers allow cups to settle by gravity toward the pull-down retrieval point. Gravity-fed systems don't require the spring mechanism to maintain its tension over time — there's no spring fatigue that gradually increases the force required to retrieve a cup or causes cup misalignment at the dispensing point.
The 25-3/4"W dispenser length holds a full standard cup sleeve. Restocking is a full sleeve exchange: remove the retaining mechanism at the bottom, load the new sleeve from below, reinstall the mechanism. This restocking process takes seconds and can be performed during service without interrupting cup access for more than a moment.
At 3-3/4"D, the PLC-2 is slightly wider than the PLC-1 to accommodate the 2-7/8"–3-1/2" diameter range. Wall or stand mounting positions the dispenser at the correct retrieval height. The Vollrath RSCL-4 rotating stand allows multiple PLC series dispensers to be combined in a rotating carousel for multi-cup-size self-serve stations. NSF listed.
