The Vollrath PLC-1 stainless steel gravity-fed pull-down cup dispenser stores one sleeve of cups in the 2-1/4"–2-7/8" diameter range and dispenses them one at a time via a pull-down gravity mechanism. The 25-3/4"W x 3-1/8"D stainless steel unit mounts to a wall or rotating stand (Vollrath RSCL-4, sold separately) at the correct height for easy cup retrieval.
Adjustable to accommodate the full 2-1/4"–2-7/8" diameter range. NSF listed.
The PLC-1 gravity-fed pull-down cup dispenser provides wall or stand cup dispensing for the smallest cup diameter range in the Vollrath PLC series — 2-1/4" to 2-7/8". This diameter range covers paper and plastic cups in the 5–10 oz range commonly used for water service, small coffee service, juice service, and condiment cups in commercial food service environments.
Gravity-fed pull-down dispensing is a self-presenting mechanism where cups are gravity-fed toward the dispensing point and retrieved by pulling the bottom cup downward out of the retaining mechanism. This pull-down action is a single-handed, intuitive retrieval motion that doesn't require two hands or visual attention — appropriate for service staff retrieving cups at speed during a beverage service rush or for guests at self-serve water and juice stations.
One-at-a-time dispensing is maintained by the retention mechanism, which grips the next-to-bottom cup as the bottom cup is pulled free. This prevents multiple cups from releasing with a single pull — maintaining organized, waste-free cup access where only the cup being used is removed from the supply.
Wall mounting positions the cup dispenser at any height that serves the installation's operational requirements — high enough that the bottom cup is at an accessible reach height for the intended user (staff or guest), low enough that the top of the sleeve is accessible for restocking without a step stool. The Vollrath RSCL-4 rotating stand provides an alternative to wall mounting for installations where wall mounting isn't practical or where portability is needed.
