Triple-layer moisture and thermal insulation surrounds both the glycol recirculation and product lines, maintaining beverage temperature from keg to faucet and protecting the tower structure from condensation damage. This insulation layer serves two functions: it maintains the cold temperature of the product lines and glycol as they travel from the base of the tower to each faucet, and it prevents condensation from forming on the exterior of the tower during service - protecting both the tower structure and the bar surface from moisture damage over time.
Cold blocks at the base of each faucet are a key engineering detail. On a glycol-cooled system, the product line stays cold all the way to the faucet body - but without cold blocks, the small volume of beer sitting in the faucet shank between pours can warm slightly and produce a foamy first pull. Cold blocks conduct the chill of the glycol system into the faucet body itself, ensuring even the first pour of a service period is clean and foam-free.
The 304 SS product lines maintain a clean, inert beverage contact surface from the trunk line connection to each faucet.
