On the GF30PG, Robert Shaw snap-action thermostats are built for fast recovery after a basket goes in, and the high limit thermostat shuts the fryer down if it exceeds a safe temperature.
For the GF30PG, the stainless steel fry pot has a drain valve with an extension pipe for draining oil, and the oil pan removes easily. Each nickel-plated basket has a cool-to-touch insulated handle and hangs from a nesting groove between batches.
