Draftec® NXG Beer Line Cleaner is a next-generation solution engineered to deliver superior performance in draft system maintenance while prioritizing safety and environmental responsibility. This revolutionary cleaner has been formulated specifically for use by industry professionals who require both efficiency and reliability when cleaning heavily soiled draft beer lines. With its advanced, non-caustic composition, Draftec® NXG effectively removes the full range of contaminants found in beer dispensing systems without the use of harsh chemicals that can damage equipment or pose health risks.
Its proprietary formula attacks every element of beer stone residue with unmatched precision. Draftec® NXG breaks down and eliminates mineral crystals, hop resins, sugars, proteins, yeast, mold, and bacteria—even the deeply embedded biofilms that accumulate inside the inner walls of beer tubing. These organic and inorganic residues are common culprits of flavor contamination, poor pour quality, and shortened equipment life. By addressing buildup at the microscopic level, Draftec® NXG ensures a more thorough clean, allowing for a better-tasting beverage and a more efficient draft system overall.
What sets Draftec® NXG apart is its non-corrosive, eco-conscious profile. It’s readily biodegradable and has been carefully designed to meet the U.S. EPA’s Safer Choice criteria—making it a responsible alternative to caustic cleaners for bars, restaurants, breweries, and foodservice environments. Unlike hazardous chemicals that require special handling, this solution ships as a non-regulated, non-hazardous material, simplifying transport, storage, and use. There's no need for additional safety gear or complex disposal procedures, which saves time and minimizes workplace risk.
In side-by-side field comparisons, Draftec® NXG consistently outperformed leading non-corrosive beer line cleaning products, delivering outstanding results in both speed and thoroughness. Whether you’re maintaining a high-volume draft system or performing routine cleaning in a smaller bar, this product gives you the confidence of a professional-grade clean—without compromising sustainability or safety. With Draftec® NXG, you can extend the life of your lines, protect the taste of your beer, and contribute to a greener, cleaner operation.
Recommended Usage
Draftec NXG Beer Line Cleaner is formulated to efficiently clean heavily soiled draft beer lines. Follow the instructions below for optimal results.

- Using a Recirculating Pump: Soak time can be reduced to 10 minutes.
Draft Line Cleaning Procedure
- Prepare the Lines:
- Remove beer faucets for hand cleaning and gasket inspection.
- Flush beer lines with water and leave them packed with water.
- Prepare Cleaning Solution:
- Calculate the total liquid volume of your draft system, including beer lines and cleaning vessel.
Example: Ten feet of 3/8" ID beer line holds 0.0057 gallons, plus the vessel volume. - Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.
- Measure the appropriate amount of Draftec NXG based on system volume and soil conditions. Always add cleaner to water, never the reverse.
- Mix thoroughly in the holding vessel.
- Calculate the total liquid volume of your draft system, including beer lines and cleaning vessel.
- Clean the Lines:
- Circulation Method: Pump solution through the lines from and back to the holding vessel. Maintain a flow of 2 gallons per minute.
- Static Method: Ensure the solution fully displaces all water previously used to flush the lines.
- Allow a minimum contact time of 15–20 minutes.
- Rinse:
- Flush lines with cold, clean water until all traces of cleaner are removed.
- Verify neutrality with pH strips or a pH meter.
