It accurately measures the maximum surface temperature achieved by dishes during the cycle by simulating a plate surface. This thermometer is NSf certified, with an accuracy of plus or minus .9 degrees Fahrenheit. It's also waterproof with an IP66 rating, a rubber bumper, and color LED lights for a quick indication of the temperature range reached during the cycle. It can even recall the last max temperature!
