On the GG48G, a spatula wide 4" grease trough and a removable stainless steel catch tray collect grease and scrapings, and the 3.5" tapered splash guard helps keep them on the griddle.
For the GG48G, manual controls every 12" let cooks set different heat zones across the plate, and each burner has an individual adjustable pilot that is reachable from the front panel.
On the GG48G model, insulated double wall construction on the front and sides, with an extended cool-to-touch front edge, helps keep heat on the cooking surface. The unit ships set for natural gas with an LP conversion kit included, which suits restaurants, diners, and cafes that cook breakfast and lunch in volume.
