Olmstead Basic Kegerator Cleaning Kit Uses

Use this Beer Dispenser Cleaning Kit to remove yeast, mold, mineral deposits, beer stones and other impurities from your simple kegerator or home conversion refrigerator system. Kit comes complete with a faucet brush, faucet wrench, shank coupling, washer, ball lifter, and cleaning powder to ensure quality tasting beer and perfect pours. It also includes instructions so you know exactly what to do.

You should clean your home-use kegerator system between every keg or once a month, whichever comes first, to prevent buildup and accumulation of impurities. Yeast and mold growth tends be accelerated in the warmer months.

Basic Kegerator Cleaning Kit Instructions

These instructions meet all FDA requirements and the solution is biodegradeable.

1. After shutting off the CO2 cylinder and closing the regulator valve, disconnect the keg coupler and place it into a clean bucket with the beer line still attached.
2. Some couplers have a ball and ball retainer in them to keep beer in the line at all times. Use the ball lifter included in this kit to make sure the beer line is open.
3. With the supplied wrench, remove the faucet, disassemble, and place the components in the bucket.
4. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of powder in a quart of water
5. Pump solution in to beer line and allow to stand for 20 minutes
6. Reattach faucet/tap and open faucet until clear beer appears
