The press installs easily by removing the standard cook plate and seating the unit onto the oven cavity stubs. When not in use, operators can continue cooking on top of the press with compatible MerryChef accessories, ensuring uninterrupted workflow.
The MerryChef PSR163 Panini Press Kit is an advanced accessory for Connex 12 and e2s speed ovens, designed to produce consistently compressed sandwiches with perfect grill marks. The high-opening double grill allows extra clearance for thicker or stacked items, expanding menu capabilities.
Food is loaded using a slide-in paddle that moves items between the ceramic-coated grill top and the grill bottom plate. Once the paddle is removed, the top grill lowers automatically to apply even pressure, ensuring uniform compression and heat distribution.
