The ergonomic front-opening door includes built-in side grips, allowing staff to open the bin comfortably from any position—even with one hand. The cammed “stay-open” door latch keeps the lid securely raised during scooping, improving both safety and workflow efficiency. A foamed-in-place insulated door minimizes condensation, helping ice stay colder longer while maintaining energy efficiency.
With its angled 53° door design, this model provides easy access to ice—even from the bottom of the bin—making daily use more comfortable for staff. The 8.9 cu. ft. storage capacity provides ample ice storage while maintaining a small footprint ideal for operations where space is limited.
Every D320 includes Manitowoc’s NSF-approved sanitary ice scoop, engineered with an ergonomic handle, knuckle and thumb guard, and molded retaining lip to maximize scooping efficiency. The built-in scoop holder keeps the handle above the ice line for improved hygiene, and operators can also add an optional external scoop holder kit (K00461) for alternative configurations.
