Once installed, the iAuCS integrates seamlessly with your Indigo or Indigo NXT ice machine. Through the intuitive display panel, users can schedule automatic cleaning intervals every 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 months. At the programmed time, typically at 12:01 a.m., the system automatically performs the full cleaning process, ensuring consistent maintenance without operator intervention.
The iAuCS performs both descaling and sanitizing cycles, depending on which solution is used. The descaler helps remove lime scale and mineral deposits that can accumulate in the water distribution system, while the liquid sanitizer controls algae, slime, and airborne bacteria such as yeast. For ongoing microbial protection, the LuminIce II Virus and Bacteria Inhibitor can be used alongside iAuCS for continuous 24/7 sanitation.
When cleaning fluid is low, the Indigo NXT display automatically provides a reminder, helping operators stay on top of replenishment. The refillable bottle can be used with either Manitowoc’s descaling or sanitizing solution, and the refill frequency depends on the ice machine’s size and cleaning schedule.
With its flexible mounting design, the iAuCS can be installed either on the ice bin or directly on the wall, making it adaptable to any kitchen layout. The compact housing measures just 12" wide x 3.43" deep x 12.12" high, allowing for convenient placement even in tight spaces.
