The Dukers BD/BG-520 is a 59" chest freezer with 16.10 cu. ft. of capacity — stepping up from the 420 model with more storage volume in the same construction and feature set. Two solid locking lids divide the top opening for access management and organization. R-290 hydrocarbon refrigeration at -10 to 0°F with fan-assisted condenser and copper evaporator. White coated steel exterior, aluminum interior, defrost drain.

Two epoxy-coated baskets, digital controller, LED temperature display, interior LED light, and four 3" casters. Manual defrost. NEMA 5-20P. cETLus, ETL-Sanitation listed.

The Dukers BD/BG-520 provides 16.10 cu. ft. of commercial chest freezer storage in a 59" footprint — 3.2 cu. ft. more capacity than the BD/BG-420 for operations that need additional deep-freeze volume without stepping up to the largest model. The two-lid design divides the top opening, allowing access to one section of the freezer while the other remains closed — reducing the ambient temperature exposure of the full interior during routine access.

R-290 hydrocarbon refrigeration maintains the -10 to 0°F operating range efficiently across the larger 16.10 cu. ft. interior. The fan-assisted condenser and copper evaporator combination provides consistent temperature maintenance and fast recovery after lid-open access events. R-290's efficient cooling properties are particularly valuable in a larger-capacity unit where maintaining temperature uniformity across more interior volume is the operating challenge.

Two epoxy-coated baskets organize the larger interior — the second basket is practical at the 59" width where a single basket wouldn't efficiently organize the full interior space. Baskets allow smaller frozen items to be stored and retrieved without searching through bulk loose product at the bottom of the chest.

The digital controller and LED temperature display provide precise temperature monitoring. The interior LED light illuminates the full 59" interior when either lid is open. Two locking lids provide security across the full unit. Four 3" casters provide mobility on commercial floor surfaces.
