Cornelius Keg Tapping Kit for Jockey Boxes

To tap a Cornelius style keg and connect to a jockey box you will need the items found on this page. When you select the "customize and add to cart" button on this page, you can add the items you need to the cart all at once.

To connect a single corny keg to the jockey box, follow these steps:

1. Slide a hose clamp over a 5 foot section of beer line then tighten to the Beverage Out Ball Lock Quick Disconnect over the barb.
2. Slide another hose clamp over the opposite side of the beerline, insert the Beer Hose Tail Piece into the Wing Nut, press the beer line hose over the tailpiece barb and tighten the hose clamp.
3. Insert the Coupling Washer between the coupling nut and the jockey box shank and tighten.
4. Attach the Beverage Out Quick Disconnect to the keg post marked OUT.

To connect CO2 tank to the corny keg, follow these steps:

1. Place hose clamps around the gas line hose and connect one end to the barb on the pressure regulator found in the CO2 tank kit and the other gas line end over the barb on the Ball Lock Gas In Quick Disconnect and tighten down the clamps.
2. Attach the regulator to the CO2 tank (after having filled with gas).
3. Attach the Gas In Quick Disconnect to the keg post marked IN.
4. Pressurize the system according to the instructions found with the regulator.

Once you fill you coil cooler with an ice bath, or cold plate cooler with straight ice, you can now dial in the desired pressure and begin pouring cold beers.
