The Clean Free Faucet uses a flexible tube that is contained within the faucet housing. As the stainless steel faucet opens and closes, it simultaneously opens and closes the flexible tube inside the faucet. Different than traditional draft beer faucets, the beverage never comes into contact with the porous metallic surfaces of the faucet housing. Pourous metallic surfaces are an ideal surfaces for yeast and bacteroa to attach and grow.

the internal tube within the faucet is a continuation of the beer line, and uses the caustic to clean it. No beer ever comes in contact with the metallic surfaces of the faucet.
