Working Together to Save the World | Reusing Packing Materials

April 20, 2017 No comments

Recycling Packing MaterialsReduce, reuse, and recycle: it’s a phrase you’ve surely heard many times throughout your life, all with the same goal – protecting the environment by cutting down on the amount of waste we create every day. However, while these terms and the concepts behind them are very well-known, not many people know the full extent to which they can be implemented. One great example is the reusing of shipping materials such as cardboard, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam peanuts.

Rapids Wholesale is doing their part to help the environment by reusing this material. We take bubble wrap and cardboard from our vendors (as well as from several local companies) and repurpose it to send items back out of our warehouse. All materials are thoroughly inspected before use to ensure that our customers’ purchases will still receive the same amount of protection as they would if we were using new packaging materials.

This gives you a greater amount of flexibility when it comes to creating a dinnerware inventory that meets your needs, and you can rest assured that if your dishwasher accidentally breaks a ton of your plates, you will be able to order replacements without worrying about color.
