Q. How can I pay for my order?
 

A. We welcome VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards, money orders or checks* payable to RAPIDS Wholesale Equipment Company (C.O.D. orders subject to additional collection fees). We also grant established businesses Open Account status with a Net 30 day pay option. To apply, call us for an application. After receiving, please be sure to fill in all sections of the form completely, and allow three weeks for processing.  Rapids can also customize a lease program just for you!  Contact a Rapids Representative to check out your options.

*For your convenience, when you pay by check, you expressly authorize Rapids Wholesale Equipment, if your check is dishonored or returned for any reason, to electronically debit from your account the check amount and debit a dishonored check fee not to exceed the state maximum limit, plus any applicable sales tax.  The use of a check for payment is your acknowledgement of this policy and its terms.

 
Q. How much are freight charges?
 

A. Estimate UPS charges at 10% of merchandise total. We will advise you of the cost of truck and C.O.D. freight shipments. Customer will be notified of any pricing discrepancies. Call for quote on truck shipments. Minimum shipping and handling charge is $9.99. Please note there is an additional $10 fee if you choose a C.O.D. shipment.


 
Q. What if I have to return something?
 

A. In the event you need to return an item, please call Customer Service at 1-800-553-2088 before shipping to obtain a Return Authorization Number.

Please note: the customer is responsible for all shipping charges on returned merchandise, and may be subject to a 40% restock fee plus freight charges.


 
Q. What do I need to do before I accept a delivery?
 
  1. Please be sure to have adequate personnel on hand to receive a truck shipment. Drivers are not obligated to assist with unloading product. To avoid any unnecessary delays, be sure to have proper help and equipment available to unload your order at time of delivery. Fee-based inside delivery can be arranged. Just ask your RAPIDS Sales Representative when ordering.
  2. When your shipment arrives, carefully inspect the merchandise by removing all packaging prior to signing for the products. It is very important to note any damage on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to ensure your satisfaction.
  3. Retain all packaging materials until you are confident the product meets your expectations.
  4. If you have any questions or the product is not in good condition, contact RAPIDS Customer Service at 1-800-553-2088 so we may assist.
  5. Obtain an inspection report from the trucking company.
  6. Note damages or discrepancies on the bill of lading prior to signing for shipment.
  7. If you receive your order and the box it arrives in appears not to be the item you ordered, please open prior to declining delivery. Very often we recycle boxes and may end up using a box from a product different from the product you ordered.
