Best for black baked on carbon.This stuff can literally eat through the black carbon that even stainless steel scrubbys cannot get. It you can actually watch it eat away slowly at the deposits and then spray or while off. Very potent though. It will make your skin itch if contact is made and even melts through some thin cheep plastic gloves. Has an intense smell of ammonia and should be used in ventilated areas or outdoors.

Excellent Cleaning of burned stove depositWe had several spills on our stove that became burned on the stove which even after extended scrubbing could not be removed without risk of damaging the stove surface. I found Carbon-Off in an on-line search an decided to try it. The deposit was so stubborn I left the Carbon-off on over night. The next morning it all cleaned up and the surface looked like new! This is an extremely effective product.
